Drivers in the team for the 2009 season are:
15-year-old John comes from Kildare in Ireland and races in the JICA Super One. A long line of successes in Ireland, including the Irish Championship in Cadets, led him to try his luck in the UK. In 2006, his first year, he was 12th in the Super One and further improved over the winter to finish as runner-up in the 2006/7 JICA Winter Series. John is currently laying 10th in the 2007 Super One.
John is aiming to become a professional driver and maybe even follow in the footsteps of his hero Michael Schumacher. John’s racing is supported by Meenagh Plant Hire and LM Developments.
Currently racing in KF3 for Msport Aaron will compete in both the Super One series and BRDC Stars series in 2009. Aaron joined us midway through the 2008 season after a bad run of results with his previous team. Aaron made rapid progress at the following rounds to register two top 10 finishes at the end of the season, placing him as a favourite for race wins in the new season.
Elder brother to Aaron, Bill competes in KF2 with Maxter power courtesy of our Belgian tuners VDK. Bill again after a bad run of results at the start of 08 joined Msport to notch up 1 9th place finish at Larkhall before a broken wrist sustained at Round 5 (Whilton Mill) put an early end to a promising end to his 08 challenge.
2009 sees Bill again competing for the British Championship along with the BRDC Stars series if they gain permission to race KF2.
Edward joined Msport's travelling team to contest the UAE national championships along with the Middle East Championship. Edward has had a superb year winning the UAE Championship along with the Dubai round of the Middle East championship. Edward also topped a great year by qualifying via his UAE championship win for the Rotax World final held this year at La Conca in Italy.
Edward surpassed everyone’s expectations by First qualifying 4th (in Group) and finishing the Grand final in 8th place gaining fastest lap on his way.
Sam joins Msport for 2009 after 3 years away from the team. Sam was one of Msport's first drivers when the team was set up back in 2005, competing then in Junior Rotax and finishing 6th in that year's Super One series.
Sam will now compete in Senior Rotax concentrating on club events at Whilton Mil and Kimbolton with some one off National events when his college commitments allow.
